The aim of the Green Deal is to make the European economy climate neutral by 2050. This means a huge transformation of the energy system and massive climate protection actions in all sectors. Among others, the EU directive on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources (RED III) includes energy policy actions included in the "Fit for 55" project.

The conference was held under the patronage of Mrs. Cornelia Pieer, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Gdańsk. The main organizers were the Northern Chamber of Commerce in Szczecin, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Neubrandenburg and East Brandenburg.

EcoEnergyH2 CEO Piotr Kosowicz gave a presentation of the Hydrogen Energy Centre Project in Świnoujście, which is being implemented by the Company. Based on this project, with the support of the Świnoujście city authorities, the Uznamsko-Wolińska Dolina Wodorowa Valley is currently being created. These activities also resulted in synergy, which became the basis for establishing cooperation with Bank BGK, among others, in the scope of cooperation in disseminating knowledge about the potential of hydrogen, innovative technologies and projects concerning the resources of the 3W idea promoted by the Bank, i.e. renewable energy sources and sustainable development. This idea also supports the joint dissemination of the project and support for activities aimed at creating the EcoEnergyH2 Hydrogen Energy Complex in Świnoujście.

The conference in Schwedt was also proof that during the current European energy crisis, the process of energy transformation based on the principles of sustainable development should not be suspended, but the construction of a new energy system and economy based on low-emission energy sources should be continued, which the Uznam-Wolin Hydrogen Valley has the ambition to join with the implementation of the EcoEnergyH2 hydrogen energy complex in Świnoujście, thus creating a regional and cross-border part of the European hydrogen market.
